Healing Waters: The Cosmic Mass

HEALING WATERS: THE COSMIC MASS TO BE HELD AT TRINITY CATHEDRAL MAY 16
A “Mass” Like You’ve Never Experienced

CLEVELAND — Matthew Fox, creator of The Cosmic Mass, will be at Trinity on Saturday, May 16 to lead the event.

Although referred to as a “mass,” The Cosmic Mass is anything but a typical worship service. It is a liturgical multimedia production that involves a DJ, VJ, artists, musicians and dancers—in addition to clergy members. There are slide shows, video clips and lighting all synchronized with live and recorded music. It is an interactive community celebration that re-invents the form of worship. It integrates elements of techno-rave, temple, art exhibit, dance hall, meditation, and intentional space to touch the deepest parts of your being and cultivate your relationship with your own personal form of spirituality within a community.

As Cleveland celebrates a year of clean water and becomes more aware of the value of Lake Erie and the city’s waterways, this Cosmic Mass opens the way to complete the transformation by including the soul and spirit of our waters. Join the community to restore a sacred connection with the waters of our ecosystem. Come embody the Four Paths of Creation Spirituality as together we honor the beauty, feel the grief, create the new possibility and become an ensouled activist on behalf of healing waters.

Tickets for the event are $20 in advance and may be purchased online at http://trinitycleveland.org/cosmicmass/. Tickets at the door will be $25. Doors open at 6 p.m. Trinity Cathedral is located at 2230 Euclid Ave. in downtown Cleveland. Limited free parking is available in the Trinity lot at Prospect and E. 22nd St.
