At least a half-dozen people in the basement of Christ Episcopal Church paused Saturday between cucumber sandwiches and cups of tea to answer, nearly in unison, “blind date.”
A woman wearing a fascinator — a sort of a combination headband/small hat that guests attending British royal weddings often wear — said it first and won a Funko doll version of Princess Diana with a giant head and tiara.
