St. Paul’s Episcopal Church is a large parish, blessed with a variety of talent and resources.  We strive to love God and one another, to grow in our faith, and to allow our faith to lead how we live our lives.  We are a warm, caring, inclusive church family.  Our services and programs nourish us spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually.  Our music and the arts are transcendent.  We care with our heads, hearts, and hands for our surrounding community.
We seek a Director of Music who has advanced proficiency in choral and instrumental conducting, has leadership, organization, and worship planning skills, and who is familiar with the Episcopal Church’s music, traditions, theology and practices.  Our ideal candidate loves God, thrives as part of a team, and has a sense of humor.  He/she demonstrates an understanding that worship is not a performance, but a choreographed expression of praise to God.
The Director of Music reports to the Rector.  To begin the conversation, please send a letter of interest with your resume and a recent video recording demonstrating choral conducting to the Rector, The Rev. Jeanne Leinbach at jleinbach@stpauls-church.org.
