Our Work Together
We are and we pray we continue to be a diocese that embraces the breadth and diversity of the people of northern Ohio while proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We run food pantries and feeding programs, provide support for young mothers, raise up, encourage, and train new lay and ordained Christians, offer shelter to the homeless, tutor children, send forth domestic and foreign mission groups, and gather, pray, and celebrate together.
Our diocese is divided into eight mission (or geographic) areas specifically to encourage collaboration, and many of our parishes join together for mission work. Our commissions and committees, such as college work, anti-racism, advocacy, and global and domestic mission help us to determine what work needs to be done and how it can best be accomplished.
What we can do alone, is often done so much more effectively when we work together.
